Our trip through the Panama Canal. November 29, 2008. Our journey on the Pacific Queen started in Gatun Lake, down the Culebra (Snake) cut, the continental divide, through the Pedro Miguel locks and the 2-sets of Miraflores locks out into the Pacific. The boat tied up to the Pacific Queen (our boat) in the Miraflores locks is the Islamorada and it was one of Al Capone's rum rummer boats used during prohibition.
